Tadahiro Nomura is a legendary Japanese judoka and the only judoka to win three Olympic gold medals in the same weight class (Extra Lightweight -60 kg). Nomura captured gold medals at the 1996 Atlanta, 2000 Sydney, and 2004 Athens Olympics. Known for his exceptional technique, particularly his mastery of the “Seoi Nage” (shoulder throw), Nomura dominated his weight class for nearly a decade. His achievements have made him an icon in judo and a revered figure in Japanese sports.
