Sebastian Coe, also known as Seb Coe, is a former middle-distance runner and a prominent figure in athletics. He specialized in the 800 meters and 1500 meters events. Coe won four Olympic medals, including two golds in the 1500 meters at the 1980 and 1984 Olympics. He set multiple world records in middle-distance events and was renowned for his tactical racing and powerful finishing kick. After retiring from competition, Coe transitioned into sports administration, becoming a key organizer of the London 2012 Olympics and serving as the President of World Athletics (formerly IAAF).
