Ferenc Puskás was a legendary Hungarian footballer and manager, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He was known for his exceptional goal-scoring ability, technical skill, and powerful left foot. Puskás began his career with Budapest Honvéd in Hungary, where he won five Hungarian league titles and became the top scorer in the league on multiple occasions. As a key member of the Hungarian national team, known as the “Mighty Magyars,” he led the team to an Olympic gold medal in 1952 and a runner-up finish in the 1954 FIFA World Cup. Puskás scored 84 goals in 85 international matches for Hungary, an extraordinary record.

After the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, Puskás moved to Spain and joined Real Madrid, where he continued his success. He won numerous La Liga titles and three European Cups with the club. Puskás was renowned for his partnership with Alfredo Di Stéfano, forming one of the most formidable attacking duos in football history. He became the top scorer in La Liga four times and scored in several European Cup finals. His playing career was distinguished by his incredible goal-scoring record, with over 500 goals in official matches.
